Bible Verse 7/11/24

1st John 3:

The Father's love for us is so great that we get to call ourselves His sons. The love of a father and his sons is very strong love. We are called to use Jesus Christ as our example as the only Son of God. As Christ was free from sin, We can also achieve this through Christ. If we challenge ourselves to be like Him, even if we come short, It is still a victory. Focusing on being like Christ is a great endeavor. Knowing that a sin is being committed should be painful to us as Christians. Something I could use is more pain for I am far from perfect. The road to Christ is not easy or simple. But the heart (or soul) will tell us what we need to know about our commitment to a life like His. We will feel like the failure from inside ourselves. For every failure we must repent and try again. Ask for the help of the Lord. There is no better guide than one who has already done what we seek to do.
