Bible Verse 7/13/24

1st John 5

John calls us to overcome the world. We will do this through Faith in Christ and his death on the cross. IF we continue to look to Christ for guidance and follow His teachings, there is nothing stopping us from becoming closer and more like Him. Without Christ we have no life. The life here is eternal. For without the Cross, we would all be destined for hell. The new covenant is so set up for man and all of our weaknesses. The Triumvirate of the Bible is brought up here as a way to understand that it takes all 3 to accomplish perfection and more importantly to achieve repentance. God answers prayers. IF these respects are His glory, are part of His plan, and we are there in true repentance and relying on God. Get to this point in your journey of Faith and be victorious over sin. When we are close to God, we are immune from the wicked one.
