Bible Verse 7/16/24

Ezra 3:

Israel held everything exactly as the Lord had wished it done in the past. The Altar was rebuilt exactly where it has been. All the traditions were held the same as when the Lord was with them before. In doing this, Israel is repenting for their sins and admitting their previous wrongs. They are also lifting up God above themselves. It’s so easy to not do these things, we must try and do them. Without the Lord, we are nothing but dirt. In the 2nd year Israel began to rebuild the temple. When they had finished the base, as David had, they rejoiced and played music and sang as the Holy Spirit encourages us to do in worship. The Lord our God is always on a pedestal and we must treat Him as such. Yet, He is reachable through prayer. This has always been the case and we need to reach out to Him and lift Him up to stay in His good graces.
