Ezra 7

Ezra himself is a student of the Word. He mentions how he "prepared his heart to seek the Law of the Lord and to teach in Israel Statutes and Judgements". Should we not be following this example every day! Seek the Lord! He can guide us and teach us. There is nothing above Him. Seek the highest of highs. The King in this moment is named Antaxerses. He seems to have more fear and respect for God than most believers do! We can do so much moar to sacrifice for our Lord. The times of the earth are different, yet the Old Testament jews continue to outshine us in praise for the Lord. Proclaim our faith loudly for the world to see. Do not fall prey to walking away from the Lord. Be strong in Him to further His kingdom. There is nothing that can be an obstacle when we have Him to rely on.
