Bible Verse 7/2/24

Luke 23:

Pilate did not initially cast Jesus down, he first sent Him to Herod. Pilate did not find Jesus guilty of any wrong doing of any kind, yet Pilate still gave Jesus over. Self protection is something we must all be careful of. That is what drove Pilate to give in to the Sanhedrin. We mustn't be worried about ourselves and our standing, we should be concerned with Christ and where He is with us. Of Christ's fellow Cross bearers, the one who turned to Christ is a great example for us. No matter how down trodden and unfortunate our circumstances become, Christ is the way out. There is no escaping the eyes of God. Lift Him up and repent and you shall be saved. There is no greater hope for any man than to live in Grace and free of our load of sin. Thanks to Jesus and his pure sacrifice, we have that opportunity.
