Joshua 2

We are to not judge anyone, even the perceived worst among us. As Rahab that harlot was not judged, yet she was saved by her confession as the Lord as God in Heaven. That is all it takes. God worked through Joshua and his "spies" to bring out her Faith! Rahab was instructed to hang a scarlet thread (the blood of Christ) from her window facing the wall. Knowing that while she stayed there, she was safe. And when she left, her safety did as well. The same goes for us. When we are with God and in his graces, we are safe from the punishment of our sin. But when we are without the Lord and rely truly on ourselves, we fail to be safe, and we will fail without Him. The "spies" found the people ready to overcome by Israel. The people still had Faith in the stories they had heard some 40 years ago. A report of Faith for Faith in its truest form is eternal.
