Joshua 4

12 stones are taken from the center of the Jordan River and placed on the edge where the Priests stood who carried the Ark of the Covenant. These rocks are still there today and are a symbol of God. God is "burying the hatchet" over the doubt and the time in the wilderness. Israel is His people and ready to claim what is rightfully theirs. As we move forward every day and our Faith grows stronger in Him, we have nothing but opportunity to move on from our past sins and look forward, just as Israel did. This is the promise of the Lord fulfilled then, just as it is now. The Lord continues his miracles for Israel. Now in Gilgal (which means "rolled away"), Israel is ready to claim what is rightfully hers. Assuming she stays with the Lord. That is the baseline of Israel's struggles as it so easily can be ours! Keep the Lord in your heart and delight in the opportunity He gives each of us every day. Find his miracles and rejoice. I have 3 asleep upstairs as the sun rises.
