Joshua 9:

We are quick to forget the lessons we learn from the Lord. Such is the weakness of the human heart. Without relying on the Lord always we can easily fall back into our bad habits. He is our rock and we must consult Him always or risk being deceived by Satan. Curses can turn to blessings the hivites deceived Israel. Through their deceit they became servants to the Lord. And eventually they came to know the Lord as well. As servants to the House of God, these people became incredibly important to the works of the God. The Lord can transform an outcome from negative to positive. However, if we don’t look to the Lord these negatives will stay negatives. Only through Him can we have all things transformed through His Grace.
