Bible Verse Synopsis

Joshua 19

The tribe of Simeon receives her inheritance from the tribe of Judah. Simeon is cursed from its midconduct in Genesis. Having an inheritance inside Judah is what we should all want! What a blessing this curse turns out to be! The Lord continues to divvy out the remainder of the land of Israel. The Lord divvied it out not man! As we read, Joshua asks for and receives a city of his own. God grants this wish and Joshua was the last to ask or desire. All the tribes went first. There can be no squabbling over something decided by the Lord. Allow Him to be the decider and distributor of our lives and there will be so much more joy.
