When the Lord changes our fortunes we are blessed so much that it no longer feels like reality. It is a dream. When He is truly in our lives, the things He does for us seem impossible, yet they come with ease. That’s because the work we are doing is to honor Him, not to glorify ourselves. His dream for us is this exactly. When the Lord’s dream for us matches what we do for Him, the blessings are endless. Glorify Him in your work. Even the heathen will see us living for God and turn around and praise Him. It will so obvious everyone can see it.
Verses 5 & 6 hold a ton of meaning here. “They who sow in tears shall reap of joy. ” “He who goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with Him.” The “Seeds of Christ” are the most important seeds we have available to us. The reason for the tears is two fold. The tears of joy from the happiness our Lord brings us and the tears of sadness from the death of our sinful selves into the forgiven bodies. We shall reap our rewards in joy and harvest a wonderful bounty of love and mercy from the Lord. Plant the “Seeds of Christ” everywhere you go and pray for them to become the miracle we all desire to see everyday.
