All the Glory should be given to God and none should be given to ourselves or other men. For the Glory of God is forever. Men are only here for what and how long God allows. When the Lord does return, the heathen can no longer ask “where is this God?” For it will be clear as day where the God of Israel is. He is everywhere!

There are a multitude of idols that men have made throughout time. None of these idols have what it takes to be like the Lord. Every idol that was made by man falls short of God. What idols are in your life that keep you preoccupied and away from the Lord? Avoid raising up anything to a standard greater than that of your holding of a Christ. For this is the trap we mustn’t fall into yet the one that the devil consistently places in our path.

The Lord is our help and our shield. Be in fear of Him because we know Him and trust in Him. If we keep our house in order, the majority of the house will fall in line. The leader sets the tone and the direction of the group. Are you setting the tone to follow the Lord? I know that I can do better.

Because of our knowing the Lord, we are privy to his blessings! As our children and those around us. The blessing of God know no end and we should be thankful for the Love our Lord freely gives. Be gracious in our Love of the Lord and admit fealty to His awesome power.
