This chapter is only 2 verses. Short and full of joy. “O Praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise Him, all ye people.” This is an instruction, not a hope, for the whole world to bow down and recognize Jesus as King over life and death. He deserves our praise and our love for the things he hath done and will do for us. The love of Christ is something we can never fully return. But, as we learned yesterday, we are not asked to give anything but our thanks and praise in return. So give it and be saved!
Verse 2 says “For His merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endures for ever. Praise ye the Lord.” This is the fulfillment of the promise of God to Israel. He will welcome them into His Kingdom, fulfilling the promises He made to Israel and to the world. God will prevail over man and more importantly over sin! AGAIN! The Lord is Almighty and we should remember this and be with Him to allow His days to be a success with us. For we are limited in this body. He is never limited.
