Bible Verse Synopsis 1-7-24

Psalms 120:

When we are in distress what do we do? We are called here to cry out to the Lord! He will hear us. When we do this, we will be delivered from a deceitful tongue. We all have this tongue but we must train it to respect the law and not speak untruths. We cannot teach this by ourselves but through the Lord and His power can we achieve this. As through Him we can achieve anything. If we continue down the dark paths of untruths and a mindset of war, we are no better than the Pharisees that were against Jesus. They constantly struck out pain against Him with either the tongue or with others sent to capture and cause Jesus physical pain. Be for peace in the Lord. Show not the readiness to go to war with your family, your friends, or anyone for that matter. In peace, give Him the Glory so that He can bless our lives and help us to hold back our sinful tongues.

I had a rotten day yesterday with no efficiency and felt like I was just going in circles the whole day. I broke a hydraulic line on my backhoe. Twice. The same line both times. My dad is leaning on me hard to not do this work. Which I should not feel the pressure of, yet here I am. I was downtrodden and defeated and had to run to town. I turned on the Lord in the car and He found me on the way to town. I openly wept on the way to the store. I knew that He had answered my prayers. I no longer felt down trodden but uplifted and joyful. Take our problems to the Lord and let Him be the Light! Song link -
