Psalms 34

It is truly amazing how often God speaks directly to us. This chapter today is exactly what I needed to read. Rejoice in Him always and sing His praises! The Word and praise for God should always be on the tips of our tongues. We often fail to give this the weight that is necessary. Primarily because there are more prideful things to discuss. We are told to be humble and fear the Lord. Not boast of our man made achievements. If we cry out to the Lord and truly believe, we will be lifted from those fears and the Lord will provide. With the help of the Holy Spirit we can achieve the closeness with God that will enable us to be free from the sins of man. He is ready to give us aid. All we have to do is ask! We must not love things of man or of ourselves. Love the things from the Lord. Our heart must be broken in the love for ourselves and other things of man.
