Bible Verse Synopsis 10-16-24

Psalms 40

Be diligent in prayer. Prayer is always answered, just maybe not with haste. Maintain the same prayer and He will find you and your needs. For Christ lifts us up from the mire of sin. How wonderful it is to be free of all sin through Him. Any trust outside of Christ is misplaced. He is our rock and our salvation. Do not give respect to the proud nor the ones that turn aside to lies. These last few sentences are both taken from verse 4. How powerful is it to motivate us that even when we feel proud, we are called to push that instinct away. The same with lying and all other sin. Be free of it through Him and His strength. Relying one ourselves alone we will never make it through. Relying on the Lord for all things. Be proud of Him and praise His name to the heavens. Preach the gospel that saves us all. Feel His righteousness in our hearts and souls. Do not be weak and foolish. Know that He has done what He can do (until He comes again) and that it is our job to grow His kingdom and share His blessings with the world. Be wary of this world and all its plights. Do not fall victim to the issues we face, but overcome through prayer and through faith. Allow Christ to be your strength.
