The way this is written and the notes from this version of the Bible, lead me to believe that this verse can mean many things. Even beyond the facia of it. Jesus will be coming again. When He does there will no longer be a niceties or mercy given to the wicked. Sharpened arrows, armor, and a sword upon His thigh show us that Christ is not here for gentle acts. He will also carry a scepter and smell of the richest perfumes. These signify that Christ is Lord of Lord's of one with God. We know there is little we must give into, except Christ. That is the only acceptable answer. All of the world will bow down before Him and bring Him gifts. But, only after Israel accepts Him. He will instruct Israel to move forward with zeal unknown to the modern man. Once Jesus comes again, there is to be no doubt and He shall receive all of our praise. Help us to live our lives as though You are here today. Let us not fall into the traps laid by the wicked. See beyond them and move us forward away from the evil and the traps. Look to You for all of our answers.
