Psalms 33

True Praise of God is done with music. A harp a piano and the whole symphony! It will be this way in Heaven as well as it should be on Earth. Sing loud for the world to hear. This verse then confirms that the Lord has made everything on Earth and only His will keeps Mother Nature somewhat at bay. We are to fear the Lord and be in awe of Him (verse 8). How few of the world can say that they stop and do this? I know I don’t do it enough. Stop to smell the roses (both literally and figuratively). Without the Lord to hold back and limit the heathens of the this world, we would have little left to do here as they would take over. The Lord our God controls the earth and everything on it if He desires. As we have read in the Old Testament, when God speaks, it will be done. That same promise we are given. His word will be done. No one man is above another. We are all equals in the eyes of the Lord. God sees our hearts and knows if we believe in and love Him. This is the only way to salvation. We must fear the opposite of salvation and hope for His mercy to our sinful souls. Rejoice in knowing that in Him we are saved from eternal damnation and will be released from our sin for eternity.
