Psalms 56

This Psalm feels written in desperation and in need of help from the Lord. How often do we go to the Lord in dire need? Is He our first stop? We must go to Him with all our troubles, not just our emergencies. He is with us always if that is what we desire. Do not fear the consequences of man, put your trust in God. There are so many evil influences around us. We mustn't allow that to have control over us. When we set out with the will of God in our heart and soul, Satan will do everything in his power to tempt us away from the will of God. But we KNOW that with the help of the Lord, we can stop the negative influences around us and overcome sin!

The Bible is of so much importance and we all must treat it as such. The Word is the front and back door and every window into the kingdom of heaven. Without the Word, we are not going to be with Him. Verse 10 says "In God will I praise His Word: in the LORD will I praise His Word." The same statement back to back. Might be a shade important to recognize that and act upon it.
