Psalms 58

This chapter leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and a fear that doesn’t sit well. The entire chapter speaks to the wicked and the Godless. The behavior of these people will lead them from God, not towards Him. If you do not know God, we fall away from the Grace and Mercy that protects us from evil. The vengeance against these peoples is the coming of the Lord in His Glory. They will all melt away and be dead forever. We shall be saved and live forever with Christ. I think the fear I have is that of losing my attention to Christ and what that would mean for me moving forward. I pray we all have this fear to some degree and it helps us stay close to God in all we do. For we are called to fear Him.
