Psalms 61

David uses God as His "shelter". Not only is shelter a place to out of the elements (sin and wicked people) but also as a strong tower from any enemy. When we fully trust in Him, we are like Christ in the manner in which God is over us. Jesus sought a higher rock to pray on always and often went to pray alone. By doing this, He elevated God over all things as the highest rock. We can never reach the rock of God here on this planet. But we can strive to when our time has come. Sing praises to His name always as David does. By praising Him all day that keeps God in the forefront of our minds. If we can keep the Lord here, there is little can bother us. He is the highest rock, the greatest shelter, and the risen savior.
