Bible Verse Synopsis 11/26/24

Pslams 79:

The heathen overtake the Word with ease if we forget to use the Word and bring it forth through God. Verse 8 has the main weight of this shorter chapter. “O remember not against us firmer iniquities: Let Your tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.” This is a true prayer of repentance and acceptance of God as Lord and Savior. What a prayer to seek salvation! What prayer do we prayer to seek His salvation??

Verse 9 follows suit and asks to be purged of their sins in His name. As we learned from chapter 78, it is important to do things in His name. This is exactly what Israel does and because of that their prayers will be answered. Then end of this chapter in verse 13 talks to the point of us being the sheep for the Lord. We are to follow Him and give Him praise for generations.
