Psalms 96

Singing again to begin a psalm! A new song to be sung to all the Earth. The past songs have been sung but it is time for the new song. The song of Salvation is the new song for all of us to sing to the whole world. Bless His name with this new song and declare His Glory among the heathen. His wonders are for all people.

Throughout this chapter, our author emphasizes the capital pronouns and nouns when referring to the Lord. This emphasis tells us that everything is His and came from Him. Without Him our strength is faulty and our beauty is false. Through Him we can move mountains. The Lord’s power knows no bounds.

Rejoice with His presence over the Earth and honor Him with your love. Spread the joy that is Christ and the good news.
