“Praise the Lord, my soul…” what a simple line to confess the love and grace we all seek from God. Through God everything is attainable. Good health, love, compassion, satisfaction, and freedom from sin. How blessed we are to see the grace of God in our lives everyday. Give Him praise for the blessings in our life lest we not forget.
Because of how abundant His love for us is, “… as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” This level of love is something we can only aspire too and receive. With the love of God inside us we are free from our trials and tribulations and slow to anger. The luxuries He provides us are unlike any we can know from anything else. His love gives us righteousness as long as we keep His covenant. This was in reference to the Old Covenant but we are blessed with the New Covenant through Christ.
Verses 20-22 end this chapter with moar praise. Praise for the angels who do His bidding and the servants who do His work. We can be these angels when we follow His instructions. Are you listening for what He wants you to do? Are you flushing the bag habits and negatives away from your heart? Are you open to receiving MOAR from God? Things we must ask and reflect on in our journey with Him.
