Riches on their own are not a sin. It is when we hoard our blessings and share it not with the world. Self indulgence will lead to us being consumed by the money train. It is one of the great temptations of Satan and of God. Satan corrupts up with money through greed and lust. God tempts us with these same things to test our resolve in Him. If we share in our wealth, we pass the test. But if we set our wealth aside to collect dust, what are we truly doing? We are doing nothing and the Lord cannot have those that work in His name leave the poor unsheltered or those that work with and for us should be rewarded handsomely. Share the glory He gives to you with those around you! Lift up the world as He lifts you up!
The Lord will be joining us before too long. As the husbandman waits for his fruit harvest, the Lord has waited for us. We should also be patient with Him. In all things be patient. Do nut rush. Do not judge the issues we see, the judgement of others is coming when the Lord arrives. In our patience we with have suffering, just as the prophets did. Endure these pains with joy knowing the Lord will save us.
Do not swear by any name only TO the Lord. He is the only one worthy of swearing an oath too in any fashion.
Any sickness can cured by the Lord. Have faith that He can heal and pray and pray for strength. Sing psalms of praise in His glory and reach out for prayers of assistance. This is part of the reason for the church. To work together toward a common good. Healing the sick through prayer is part of that goodness. Together our prayers are greater than alone. Yet one man’s prayer can hold tremendous power! The healing power of the Lord also applies to the healing of our sins.
