The thing that set the Trespass Offering apart from the others in practice was that the "inwards" (innards) and fat of the unblemished animal were burnt on the Altar. This symbolizes that Sin against God goes deeper than the skin. To repeal the demons that have us sin against God requires our heart and soul to be transformed through the Holy Spirit. It will require work on our part to achieve this goal. I am still working on it every day. Falling short is our nature, but with Christ and His Sacrifice on the Cross (The Altar), we can overcome Sin.
This chapter ends the instructions for the Offerings. There are 5 kinds of them. That seems like plenty, yet we know not this custom and instruction well enough and should not judge it. For Israel at this time did not have Jesus. The Old Law was the presiding Law and the standards God gave to His people here were to live up to Christ and that standard. These offerings were to complete their wholeness. We are fortunate that we are whole through Christ alone. He is the ONE Offering that takes the place of the 5 from the Old Law. Enjoy our blessings and give God you mind and your heart. If we do this our soul will have no choice but to follow as the Holy Spirit has been let in by the physical body to influence the soul.
