These passages may seem trivial, but they are important in the understanding of the Old Testament, the totality of the fall, and the power of sin. And of course the salvation of the Cross.
This passage regards defilement and those afflicted by it. Mentioned specifically is an issue of the running out of the flesh. How unclean it makes the receiver of such issue and all who touch him or the things he sat or lied on. The bed, the chair, the stool and to touch him all made the other men unclean until the evening. This example shows how far we can fall from God. That every man who touches us is corrupted by our sin. I would much prefer to repent and not have my sin drags me down into the mud. However, even the best of us cannot manage this. Our sin overflows our human bodies with the slightest agitation. We must reflect in this and ask God for grace. For through Him is the only place where we are free of the corruption of man. The reconcile requires a sin and a burnt offering for this plight. Jesus has committed the offering for us already but we must give Him the praise and the thanks or we are destined to maintain the sin and failure which is in our nature.
