The Lord tells Joshua to make 6 cities in Israel cities of refuge. A place where a person who commits a crime on accident can go safely and not be pursued by the family who was done wrong against. This was not a sanctuary for murderers. Only for crimes by accident. Things do happen outside of our purpose and the Lord understands this. These cities were to use to house the person in error until judgement could be made by the High Priest. Jesus is for us to what these cities are for Israel. We are to run to Him and seek refuge from our sin. Be strong in the Lord to avoid the pain and struggle of this world. Do not give in to the easy weakness around us. Stand above the fray and be stronger through Him and the Father. Let Christ be the only one to judge.
