Bible Verse Synopsis 8/29/24

Joshua 21

The Levites were spread out throughout the land (as God promised in Genesis they would be). But, they were not forgotten or neglected. The Levites were to populate the cities of refuge. We only have 5 of the 6 cities listed here. One is missing. God does not forget. Something must be coming. To think that the Lord's servants in the temple, which is what the Levites were, could do something to not recognize one of their cities? We should also treat much of this the same as things in our life that we put too much stock into. Does that thing you're spending all of that time on matter? Do you know that the Lord will provide if we only ask Him? The Lord God keeps his promises. Israel possessed all of the land He promised them. Possession of the land did not come simply. When Israel didn't trust in Him and have Faith, they faltered. Shouldn't this be a lesson to us? Know the Lord and do not falter.
