Psalms 18

In this Psalm, David proclaims the perfection of God and the strength of his Faith in the rock of salvation. There continue to be traps and snares in this world around every corner. We must avoid these traps to avoid getting stuck in sin. Satan reaches out to us in every fleeting moment to take us away from the Deliverer. Call upon the Lord for all things and your cry will be heard! David proclaims that as we are in this world, we shall be treated in the next world as well. If we are pure in our intentions and have no ill willed conceptions anywhere down the line ( in spite of the worldly influences around us), we can be treated purely by the Lord. I do not want the alternative to that. Which is why we have Jesus who takes our place in imperfection with his perfect sacrifice to save all of us. The Word of the Lord is tried. There is nothing in the Bible that is not pure truth and something we can rely on. Find your rock in the Word. Verses 32-50 are descriptions of David's blessings. Every limb and act in mentioned to show the Lord is FULLY WITH HIM! This is because David is also fully with the Lord! To close David give thanks and blesses the people with Him and those to come forevermore. This includes us! We have been directly blessed by David himself. Remember how special each one of us is. God made us into our own unique person and blessed us all differently. Use your talents for Him to further His Kingdom knowing that each of us is blessed more than we can realize. Amen.
