The primary over-arching theme of psalms continues here. Albeit in a different tone. The author continues to develop His asks of the Lord. This is expansion of his territory and He asks God with all His power and Glory to help him achieve this. But, he does not simply ask God for his help and then not converse with Him again. He is in a constant state of prayer and achieving guidance from the Lord. He also understands that the weakness of men is not to be trusted. Which is why he went to God instead. This type of show of Faith is what brings us closer to Him. Not only does this continue to show us an example of where to put our strengths and our Faith, but it is a guide to how we live our lives. Blessed is His Word.
